Demographics of EMDP vs Conventional medical students at KCL

My Questions are in line with the 2008 publication in the BMJ by the faculty from the KCL School of Medicine (See http://www.bmj.com/content/336/7653/1111)

Since the start of the EMDP programme in 2001/2002,

1a) Regarding Socioeconomic classification, can you provide the percentage of students that come from families of the following backgrounds:
a. Higher Professional managerial
b. Lower professional managerial
c. Intermediate
d. Self employed
e. Lower supervisory and technical
f. Semi routine
g. Routine
h. Not working

1b) Regarding ethnic origin of KCL medical students, can you provide the percentage of students that come from families of the following backgrounds:
a. White British
b. White other
c. Black African
d. Black Caribbean
e. Bangladeshi
f. Indian
g. Pakistani
h. Chinese
i. Asian other
j. Mixed race
k. Other
l. Not known

For both questions in 1a and 1b, can the data be split into
o EMDP students
o Conventional MBBS students

Note: If you cannot provide data from as early as 2001/2002 due to restrictions of the Freedom of Information Act (FOI), please can you provide as much data as you can that is in accordance with the guidelines of the FOI.
