• Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC)
• UK Dementia Research and Innovation (UKDRI)
• Department of Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT)
2) How much government funding has been allocated to dementia research for the current financial year?
• 2024/25
Please provide this in the same format as requested above.
If this request requires any clarification, please indicate this ASAP. If this request will take longer than 18 hours to compile, please contact me so I can simplify the request.

Dear Department of Health and Social Care,
Thank you for your kind reply. I have followed up with DSIT under FOI2024_00257.
You stated that NIHR dementia research spend for the financial year 2023/24 would be available from early Autumn 2024.
Please could you let me know how much government funding was spent by NIHR on dementia research for the financial year 2023/24?
Yours faithfully,
Clare Harvey
