Delegated Authority
Dear Northern Ireland Policing Board,
From the 1st March 2017 - 30th November 2018 the Northern Ireland Policing Board "was not legally constituted and therefore unable to fulfil its full range of statutory duties”
(FOI 04/2019)
The four main committees were unable to sit, this of course included the Resources Committee.
Question 1. In these circumstances how were applications for Injury on Duty Awards/ Ill Health Retirements processed?
Question 2. In light of the implications of the McKee & Hughes V The Charity Commission of Northern Ireland judgement 19th February 2020, can applications processed during this period be considered lawful, and if so how?
Yours faithfully,
HUGH CATHERWOOD

Dear NIPB FOI,
I have not received a reply to my FOI 10/2024 request which by law you should have normally responded promptly to by 22 February 2024.
Can you let me know and advise me as soon as possible, in writing and detail a timescale for reply.
Yours sincerely,
HUGH CATHERWOOD
