Delay Repay Scheme

The request was successful.

Dear Transport for Wales,

I'm writing requesting information regarding the number of people who have applied for the 'delay repay' scheme.
Could you please tell me the following:

How many applications and how many successful applications there were for the delay repay scheme in the last 6 months?

How many journeys in Wales were delayed enough for passengers to be eligible to apply for the 'delay repay' scheme in the last 6 months?

Yours faithfully,

Mrs Trellis

Dear Mrs Trellis,

This is to acknowledge receipt of your request below, made under the Freedom of Information Act.

To be valid under the Freedom of Information Act, a request must fulfil the criteria set out in Section 8 of the Act, which includes the requester providing enough of their real name to give anyone reading that request a reasonable indication of their identity. Guidance from the Information Commissioner's Office states that if the requestor is using an obvious pseudonym, then their request will not meet the requirements of section 8(1)(b) and will technically be invalid.

Please provide your full name so that your request can be valid. Please note that we will be unable to proceed with your request until we have received this information from you.

Best regards

Dear Freedom Of Information,

The guidance from the Information Commissioner (October 2007), said that it is good practice for a public authority to still consider a request made using an 'obvious' pseudonym.

Yours sincerely,

Mary Trellis
