Definition of "Full Time"

Currently waiting for a response from Department for Work and Pensions, they should respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
We'd like to understand how the DWP defines "full time" as we have received different answers when assisting claimants with their claim.

In regards to benefit claims for Job Seekers Allowance, Employment & Support Allowance and Universal Credit and housing benefit (including the rent element of universal credit):

1) Can you provide all relevant definitions you have for the term "full time", with regards to education, work, training, etc.

2) Can you provide all relevant definitions you have for the term "part time", with regards to education, work, training, etc.

3) How many hours or more is equivalent to "full time"?

4) Can you point me to where it the DWP has made it publicly available information the definition of "full time employment" and "full time education" as set out by the DWP with regards to benefit claims either in the relevant benefit-claimants terms and conditions or on DWP websites?

Yours faithfully,

Andrew
