Dear University of Cambridge,

Please may I know the following data regarding the 2017 cycle, summarised in a table regarding gap year applicants for mathematics:

1) whether the applicant applied for deferred entry in year 13 or post-A-Level
2) their average MUMS
3) their number of A*s at GCSE
4) the number of As at AS if in year 13, and the number of A*s if post-A-Level
5) their STEP grades (under a single column) if they had any, but leave blank if not
6) which college they applied to

In addition, I would like to know a bit more about how the colleges which discourage gap years (i.e. those with a 'DU' here: https://www.maths.cam.ac.uk/system/files...) view an application for deferred entry or an applicant who has completed their A-Levels. How much of a disadvantage would it be? Is a pool more likely? Also, could I please have the percentage of successful gap year applicants for the 'DU', 'N', 'EI' and 'E' colleges (based on the above link)?

Thank you very much in advance.

Yours faithfully,

Joseph Aldemorayne
