Dear Ms Knight,
Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002
Our Ref: 153-18
I refer to your refined request for information dated 24 April, 2018 under the Freedom of
Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (“the FOISA”). The information requested and held by the
University is being released to you in full as set out below.
1. The number of places for deferred entry given for History (V100) in the 2016/17 cycle.
There were six offers of deferral on V100 for 2017/18 entry. This will include any
applicants who originally applied for deferred entry and those who requested deferred
entry post-application.
2. The percentage of deferred entry places out of the total number of places for the History
(V100) course, in the 2016/17 cycle.
As a proportion of the total offers issued for V100, the percentage of deferred entry places
was 2% for entry in 2017/18.
3. The number of places for deferred entry given for History (V100) already in 2017/18 cycle.
As of 31 March, 2018, four offers for deferred entry on V100 had been issued. This will
include any applicants who originally applied for deferred entry and those who requested
deferred entry post-application.
