Dear Croydon Borough Council,

I would like you to provide a listing, for the years 2014, 2015 and 2016, of all company directorships and shareholdings, gifts received in relation to their work, and hospitality enjoyed by the council's senior executives during that period, including (though not limited to) Jo Negrini, Nathan Elvery, Colm Lacey, Heather Cheesbrough, Paul Greenhaugh, Steve Iles, Stephen Tate and Sarah ireland, and other staff at director level and above.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Freedom of Information,

Thank you for your response, received today, Dec 6, 2016.

I note from your spreadsheet that you have included only directorships "as part of their role with the council".

I do not know whether this is a deliberate omission, but the information requested is for *all* company directorships of the council's various executive directors.

I do not consider this to be a new request, merely an insistance that you respond properly to the original request, and therefore expect you to furnish me with the information requested under the full terms of the FoI Act within the 20 working days from the request being submitted.

Yours sincerely,

S Downes

I will be conducting the Internal Review and will endeavour to provide a
response within the statutory timescales; that is no later than 2 January

the review, I will contact you before that date.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Mr. Downes,

Further to your email dated 6 December 2016 in which you requested an
Internal Review of the Council’s response to your request for information,
I have now concluded the review and I am able to reply as follows. Please
accept my apologies for the delay in replying.

In your request for an Internal Review you asked the Council to reconsider
your request as you believed that you had not been provided with the
information that you requested.

In your request for information by e-mail dated 8 November 2016 you
requested the following information:

“I would like you to provide a listing, for the years 2014, 2015 and 2016,
of all company directorships and shareholdings, gifts received in relation
to their work, and hospitality enjoyed by the council's senior executives
during that period, including (though not limited to) Jo Negrini, Nathan
Elvery, Colm Lacey, Heather Cheesbrough, Paul Greenhaugh, Steve Iles,
Stephen Tate and Sarah Ireland, and other staff at director level and
above.

The terms for what should be included in such listings, the guidance on
declarations of interest issued to elected councillors can be adopted”.

The Council responded to you on 6 December 2016 and provided you with an
Excel spreadsheet and PDF document listing all the information the Council
held in relation to company directorships, shareholdings, gifts received
in relation to work and hospitality enjoyed by all staff at director level
and above from 2014-2016.

In your request for an Internal Review dated, 6 December 2016, you stated
that:

“I note from your spreadsheet that you have included only directorships
"as part of their role with the council".

I do not know whether this is a deliberate omission, but the information
requested is for *all* company directorships of the council's various
executive directors.

I do not consider this to be a new request, merely an insistence that you
respond properly to the original request, and therefore expect you to
furnish me with the information requested under the full terms of the FoI
Act within the 20 working days from the request being submitted.”

On receiving your request for an Internal Review I made further enquiries
of the Head of Governance.  I have been informed that the information
provided to you fully reflects the information the Council holds.

If you are not content with the outcome of the Internal Review, you have
the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a
decision. The Information Commissioner can be contacted at:
