Declaration Of Senior Manager
Dear Conwy County Borough Council,
Please, can you provide the following information,
Has a Senior Manager within Social Services adults and children declared that they have been having contact with a service user known to the authority in out of work time?
It has previously been suggested by the authority and the care council that any contact with vulnerable adults under the authority would need to be approved, or declared due to the possible exploitation and also professional boundaries issues.
1, So has any one of the senior managers declared such contact to the authority?
2, If they have not, and this is the case what would the authority be legally bound to do?
3, If this is not known to the authority, what would be the process of reporting such unprofessional and potentially damaging actions by a said Manager?
Yours faithfully,
Donald Saunders
