Dear General Medical Council,

I am trying to find a declaration of competing interests by your former chair Peter Rubin which you have removed from the internet. Are you please able to provide the same here?

Yours faithfully,

FOI, General Medical Council

Dear C Nazareth,

In accordance with Section 8(1)(b) of the FOIA we require your full name in order to progress with your request.

The ICO’s guidance on Section 8 states that:
‘For a request to be valid, the requester must provide enough of their real name to give anyone reading that request a reasonable indication of their identity.
This means that if the staff processing the request cannot identify the requester from the name provided, that request will be invalid.’
We have reason to believe that ‘C Nazareth’ is not your real name and therefore unless you can prove otherwise your request will be regarded as invalid and we will not respond to you further on this.

We reserve the right not to acknowledge any further requests that you send through to the GMC under a false name.

You do have a further right of complaint about our response to the ICO. Their contact details are as follows:

Dear FOI,

You continue to make defamatory accusations against me despite my having given you my full name Colin Nazareth. Do you make such claims against all requesters or are they reserved for certain types?

I do not understand your prejudicial attitude. Why are you concealing the interests of Peter Rubin who by his own admission abused his office & was the subject of controversy in the GMC can you explain?

Yours sincerely,

c Nazareth

Dear FOI,

I will ask for an internal review now as you have ignored my earlier message.

Yours sincerely,

Colin Nazareth

Dear FOI,

I quote from the ICO’s guidance that you hide behind which is as follows:

16. … there are circumstances under the FOIA where a requester’s true identity can be relevant, for example, where an authority is considering
aggregating the cost of requests or refusing a request as vexatious or repeated.

But you have pleaded no such circumstances. Instead Peter Rubin is on the record for his abuses, perversions of justice & defending himself by accusing his critics of anti-Semitism.

17. However, if the public authority is not considering one of the above issues, and there is no obvious indication that the requester has not used their real name, then we don’t suggest that the authority takes steps to check the requester’s identity.

IN MOST CASES IT WILL BE APPROPRIATE TO ACCEPT THE NAME THAT
HAS BEEN PROVIDED AT FACE VALUE AND RESPOND TO THE REQUEST IN
THE NORMAL WAY.

Except you are not normal people.

18. Even if a public authority suspects that the requester isn’t using
their real name, this doesn’t mean that it can’t answer the request.

26. A combination of the requester’s middle names and surname
will also be acceptable as this is simply another way of expressing their real name.

31. Whilst this may mean that some pseudonymous requests will slip through the net, we would not want to see a situation where authorities routinely carry out checks on requesters’ identities.

The guidance continues as follows:

“THE ACT PROVIDES A PUBLIC RIGHT TO INFORMATION, NOT A
RIGHT LIMITED TO CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS…”

The above is what all racists inside General Medical Council ought to bear in mind. & Finally:

34. In any case where this is an issue, the authority should aim to
use a relatively informal means of confirming the requester’s
identity rather than seeking formal evidence of identification.

Please provide the information or I reserve the right to report you to the police as well as the ICO.

Yours sincerely,

Colin Nazareth

Dear FOI,

The internet says that Peter Rubin traveled to Israel on a fellowship in 2009 about the same time that you claim he was 'elected' to GMC hair.

https://jewishmedicalassociationuk.org/p...

Why do you continue to conceal his register of interests. May I ask if this was mentioned amongst the declaration of his conflicts earlier?

Yours sincerely,

C Nazareth

Dear General Medical Council,

The web-site asks me to update the status of my request every few days. However, I am yet to receive any acknowledgement from you. You give no disclosure about how Peter Rubin was "elected" to GMC chair. Please let me know if you have no intention of doing so.

It appears that a few months after his so-called election to GMC chair Peter Rubin appointed himself as GMC chair through "open competition". Please refer to the link below:

https://www.civilsociety.co.uk/news/gmc-...

Everyone knows that GMC is a circus but it also appears to be the personal fiefdom of Peter Rubin & his tribe. Can you explain how that came about?

Yours faithfully,

C Nazareth
