Decision Making Framework - Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011

The request was successful.

Dear Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner,

The Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011 sets out the functions and responsibilities of the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC).

Many PCCs have created and operate frameworks they apply to their decision making and for those exercising delegated authority on behalf of the PCC. It details the arrangements put in place to enable the PCC to make robust, well informed and transparent decisions and hold the chief constable to account

These frameworks also seek to provide information to assist the Police and Crime Panel in its role to scrutinise the decisions and actions of the PCC.

I would be most grateful if your organisation could provide me with a complete copy of their decision making framework or point me to a particular location where I may view this information.

Thank you for your cooperation and I look forward to receiving your response within 20 working days.

Yours faithfully

Colin Webb
