Debriefing Document on the October People's Vote March including Attendance

Ethan Sweet made this Freedom of Information request to Greater London Authority

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Greater London Authority did not have the information requested.

Dear Greater London Authority,

I wish to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act.

On the 5th of January 2019, the Telegraph published an Article titled "People's Vote march was attended by a third of number that organisers claimed, official estimate says" in which they say:

"A debriefing document prepared by the Greater London Authority put the number of attendees at October's People’s Vote rally at 250,000 - significantly below the campaign group's claim that they were joined by more than 700,000 people."

Can you please confirm the existence of such a document and provide it to me if it exists.

Many thanks,
-Ethan Sweet
