Dear Melanie Leahy,

RE: Freedom of Information Act Request (REF: Internal Review)

I understand that this request was previously made to North Essex
Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, you will be aware that this
Trust recently merged with South Essex Partnership NHS Foundation
University Trust to become Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation
Trust (EPUT). The processing of Freedom of Information requests is now
handled by a central team who will be looking at your request for a
review.

May I take this opportunity to confirm that we will treat this as a review
of the original information sent to you in response to your request for
information.

EPUT will carry out an internal review, investigating the issues /
questions you have raised and provide a detailed response. The Information
Commissioner considers that a reasonable time for completing an internal
review is 20 working days from the date of the request for review.
Therefore you can expect a response no later than 2nd June 2017.

In some cases, which involve exceptional circumstances, it may be
reasonable to take longer. If this is the case EPUT will contact you again
and provide a full explanation as to why more time is required.

In the meantime should you have any questions, or require further
information or advice, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards

Dear Melanie Leahy,

With regards to your recent request for information, it is taking longer
than we anticipated to collate your response.  This is because the data
requires a manual trawl of archived former NEP files and it is taking some
time to do so.

We therefore, with your kind agreement request an extension to 19 June
2017.

We understand the delays may be frustrating but please do be assured that
we are making every effort to respond to you at the earliest possible
opportunity.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the delay.

Many thanks
