Meeke, Craig, South Wales Central Coroner

Dear Ms. Watters

I have contacted the Freedom of Information Officer regarding your request
and have been given the following response to pass on to you.

The Coroner is not a local government officer but holds office under the
Crown. The Coroner is an independent judicial officer presiding over a
Court of Record within the English and Welsh Judicial System and
discharges his or her duties in accordance with the Coroners Act 1988, the
Coroners Rules 1984 (as amended in 2005), and other relevant legislation,
therefore their records are not subject to the Freedom of Information Act
2000.

Unfortunately on this occasion we are unable to provide you with the
information required.

Kind Regards

Craig Meeke
