I am writing to confirm that the Authority has now completed its search for the information
which you requested on 2014 – you asked:

Who is your lead officer for DBS checking?
2.
How many DBS checks do you carry out each year, broken down by type eg.
Standard, Basic or Enhanced?
3.
Are you a registered body at the DBS that umbrellas other organisations?
4.
Are you currently doing your DBS checks online and if so, what system do you
use?
5.
Have you a contract currently with a DBS eBulk provider and if so when does the
contract come to an end?
Our reply:
1) Our lead officer for DBS checking is the corporate manager for our licensing department.
2) Between 100-200 estimate - licensing team are all enhanced level
3) No
4) We do not perform DBS checks online
5) No. All DBS related work is carried out in house.
