3) If you use a third party, which company is it? When did you start using them? How much do you pay per Enhanced Disclosure? Is the provider decided by a tender process, if not who is the individual within the council that makes the decision?

4) How many DBS checks did you request between 1st Jan 14 – 31st Dec 14?

5) Do you provide an umbrella body service to organisations?

6) If so, please can you list the names of the organisations. Please include a primary contact name and telephone.

We operate an online system but also still process some paper forms

We use a third party for the online system and direct to the DBS for paper
forms.

I can confirm that I have considered your request for the primary contact
name and telephone number in accordance with the Freedom of Information
Act 2000 (FOIA), and in doing so have identified that section 40(2)
(Personal Information) is engaged for some of the information that you
have requested.

Section 40(2) of the FOIA confirms that:

Any information to which a request for information relates is also exempt
information if
(a)    it constitutes personal data which do not fall within subsection
(1), and
(b)    either the first or the second condition below is satisfied

Section 40(3) of the FOIA confirms that:

The first condition is

(a)   in a case where the information falls within any of paragraphs (a)
to (d) of the definition of data in section 1(1) of the Data protection
Act 1998, that the disclosure of the information to a member of the public
otherwise than under this Act would contravene
(i)    any of the data protection principles, or
(ii)   section 10 of that Act (right to prevent processing likely to cause
damage or distress)

exemptions that may have been applied, you can do so by writing to the
