processing of DBS Applications at Trinity School, Carlisle. 
 
It is important to recognise that the FoIA relates only to information and
documents that exist at the time of the request. If data has not been
collected/recorded about a particular subject, even if it could be
collected, there is no requirement to begin collection to meet
the request.

•  how your establishment process DBS applications? Online via a third
third-party service provider - Strictly Education Ltd. 

• how many applications per year do you process? In the academic year
2021-22 Trinity School processed 54 applications.

Should you be dissatisfied with how the School has dealt with
your request, you have the right to request a review of our actions and
decisions. If you wish to request a review, please contact the School’s
DPO/FoI Officer by emailing [email address] within 40
working days of our response. Your request must be in a recordable format
(letter, email, audiotape, etc). You will receive a full response to
your request for review within 20 working days of its receipt.
 
In the event you are dissatisfied with how any request for a review was
handled you have the right to ask the Information Commissioner’s Office to
review our decision.  You must submit your complaint to
the Information Commissioner within 6 months of receiving the response to
