Dear Frimley Health,

Thank you very much for all your previous FOI responses.

I would like to make another request under the FOI Act.

For the purposes of the Act, please take the date of your receipt of this request as 3rd April 2017.

I am interested in the current and forthcoming use (if any) of both the Summary Care Record and the Hampshire Health Record database systems by Frimley Park Hospital.

Summary Care Record
------------------------------

You have very kindly responded to a previous FOI request about this:

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/3...

"The only department who has access to clinical details on the Summary Care Records System are Pharmacy but this is limited to a few people. There are no plans before 31st March 2017 for this to be expanded."

I would like to ask those questions once again, now that the 31st March 2017 has passed:

• Please could you provide me with a list of the departments & wards (e.g. A&E, MAU, SAU, Pharmacy department etc), within Frimley Park Hospital, Camberley, that are both enabled and reliably/regularly accessing clinical data uploaded from GP systems and held in the national Summary Care Record

• Please could you provide me with any current plans to extend the scope of departments & wards that will have such access, between now and 31st March 2018

Hampshire Health Record
----------------------------------

You have very kindly responded to a previous FOI request about this:

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/3...

I seek the following information:

• Please could you kindly tell me whether Frimley Park Hospital has commenced extracting and uploading personal confidential hospital data about patients to the HHR?

• If not commenced already, does Frimley Park Hospital have plans to commence feeds into the HHR at any time between now and 31st March 2018?

• Please could you provide me with a list of the departments & wards (e.g. A&E, MAU, SAU, Pharmacy department etc), within Frimley Park Hospital, Camberley, that are both enabled and reliably/regularly accessing clinical data uploaded from GP systems and held in the Hampshire Health Record

• Please could you provide me with any current plans to extend the scope of departments & wards that will have such access, between now and 31st March 2018

2017/18 NHS Standard Contract
-------------------------------------------

https://www.england.nhs.uk/wp-content/up...

SC 23.9 of the "hospital" contract requires the following:

23.9 By no later than 1 April 2017 the Provider must enter into an Urgent Care Data Sharing Agreement with the Commissioners and such other providers of urgent and emergency care services as the Co-ordinating Commissioner may specify, consistent with the requirements of GC21 (Patient Confidentiality, Data Protection, Freedom of Information and Transparency) and otherwise on such terms as the Co-ordinating Commissioner may reasonably require.
• Please could you provide me with the Urgent Care Data Sharing Agreements (suitably redacted if legally justified under the Act) that you have in place with your commissioners

I would be grateful if you would be kind enough to send me the requested information promptly and in any event not later than the twentieth working day following the date of receipt of my request.

I would be grateful if you would kindly acknowledge receipt of this request as recommended by the ICO (“It would be good practice to acknowledge receipt of requests and to refer to the 20 working day time limit, so that applicants know their request is being dealt with”).

Thank you once again.

Yours sincerely,

Dr Neil Bhatia
