Dear North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust,

I am writing to request some information under Freedom of Information regulations. I would like to know, over the last 12 months, in your trust:

- On how many occasions have leave beds (beds occupied by a patient who is on a period of leave but is still within in patient care) been occupied by another patient.

- On how many occasions have there been no unoccupied inpatient beds available within the trust.

- If out of area placements have been made for patients under the care of the trust over the last 12 months, please list a) the trusts to which patients were sent and b) for each trust, the number of times patient(s) from your trust were sent there.
