Data Protection Officer Job Evaluation Rationale

The request was successful.

Dear RCT Council,

Please provide the following:
1) the job evaluation (JE) document that was used to determine the grade/scale of your Data Protection Officer (DPO) as appointed under the GDPR; and
2) the grade/scale/banding of your DPO.

*I will only require this information if your DPO is a dedicated role and is not a shared role e.g. Records Manager and DPO or Governance Officer and DPO.*

For clarification, the JE is the document used (usually by two senior HR staff) to assess a job and assign it within a band/scale. The JE usually looks at things like the number of staff an officer manages, the physical difficulty of the job and the amount of concentration that needs to be paid for extended periods of time.

Please provide this in the most convenient format for yourselves.

Yours faithfully,

James Jimson
