Dear Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council,
What action would Stockport Council take if a
member/s of their staff in a position of trust, clearly breached the Data protection act relating to another member of staff at the Council - disclosing confidential and sensitive personal information.
(2) Would a person or persons be dismissed with
immediate effect if found to have broken the law divulging personal information about a member of staff causing them unlawful detrimental damage to their career.
