Data on use of powers in regard to Domestic Violence

Duncan Kerr made this Freedom of Information request to West Mercia Police

This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, West Mercia Police should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear West Mercia Police,

1. How many successful prosecutions there has been for coercive control and for stalking in Shropshire and in West Mercia each year since 2012?
2. Over the last 5 years what have been the number of reports of DV crimes and incidents, and for DV prosecutions and convictions in Shropshire and West Mercia?
3. What progress has been made in the re-establishment of DV courts in Shropshire?
4. How many DVPN and DVPO have been served or obtained each year for the past 5 years for Shropshire and in West Mercia?

Yours faithfully,

Duncan Kerr
