Data on urgent 2 week cancer referrals
Dear Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust,
Please provide the below data in relation to the East Midlands cancer network urgent two week referral system.
Over the past 12 months, how many:
1. Patients have been referred under this system by month and total number
2. How many of these have been met within the two week policy by month and total number
3. How many patients appointments have been rearranged or cancelled directly by the trust
4. Are these figures incorporated within answer two as meeting the 2 week target
5. If no then please include this in the figures and provide adjusted figures for 2 week referral targets met
6. In relation to question 3. Please provide the breakdown by department
7. What policy does the trust have in relation to breaches of the 2 week urgent target
8. What is the average wait having originally being referred on the 2 week pathway
9. What is the longest any patient has had to wait
10. What are the reasons for the cancellations or rearrangements described in the answers above

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) came into being on 1st
April 2006 and assumed responsibility for the services provided by both
the Queen's Medical Centre (QMC) and Nottingham City Hospital NHS Trust
(NCH).
In some circumstances a fee may be payable and if that is the case I will
let you know. A fees notice will be issued to you, and you will be
required to pay before I will proceed to deal with your request.
You will receive the information requested within 20 working days allowed
under the Act unless the Trust does not hold the information or there is a
reason for it to be withheld. I will write to you in any event.
If you have any requirements regarding the format any information should
be supplied in, e.g. the language to be used, audio, large print and so
on, then please let me know.

could you please clarify :
For NUH the National 2 week referral is non specific to the East Midlands
Which urgent 2 weeks referral type is required. There are 24 types of
referral for urgent 2 weeks referrals
