Data loss in November 2007

The request was successful.

Dear Sir or Madam,

Under the FOI act could you please inform me whether the data disks that were lost in November 2007 containing data related to approx. 25 million people:
(1) has been found and if so where/when and by whom?
(2) if it has not been found whether it is still being looked for and if not when the decision to stop looking was made and by whom?
(3) whether individuals can make a request to ask if their own data was part of the data lost and what exactly these data items were.

Yours faithfully,

S. Davis
