Robert Koya-Rawlinson

Dear South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust,

Can you please provide the data on the following:

Numbers of calls and their categorisation for the following:

1. Type II Diabetes mellitus - Hypoglycaemia
2. Type I Diabetes mellitus - DKA
3. Type I Diabetes mellitus - Hypoglycaemia

For each of the above can you also give the percentage of call outs that resulted in a conveyance to an emergency department?

For the above data can you please provide results split by Clinical Commissioning Group that the patient was registered with (including outliers and transient populations).

Can I also have the tariff or costs associated with the call outs and that would have been charge to the Clinical Commissioning Group.

How many of these calls impacted negatively on SWAST performance measures and how many adversely affected turnaround measures.

Yours faithfully,

Robert Rawlinson
