Data dictionary and cost centres for expenditure
Dear Birmingham City Council,
Can you please send me the data dictionary for Birmingham City Council expenditure data (i.e. which fields are used by the database which the expenditure is generated from, including those not published on the public 'Expenditure above £500' files).
Can you please also send me the data explaining the different cost codes used by BCC (e.g. which budgets/projects/departments they relate to).
If cost codes consist of more than one part (e.g. the first two characters refer to one aspect and the next three to a second) please can you include that detail.
I would like both pieces of data in spreadsheet format (XLS or CSV).
If you need any further information or help in refining this request please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Many thanks for your help,
Yours faithfully,
Paul Bradshaw
