Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,

The information provided appears to have redactions

For example the Carers assessment meeting held in January, has no names -just job titles. This has not happened in the past as minutes taken have always mentioned officers by name.

Given that WBC has been heavily criticised over openness and transparency I believe this sets a very dangerous precedent and does not comply with the spirit of FOI

I would therefore ask for the FULL information and a guarantee that these are the ORIGINAL minutes.

In short who were the officers attending these meetings and who took the minutes?

Why are there no minutes available for the Carers meeting of the 6th March - It states simply "no notes available" does this mean notes were not taken or are they being with held ? Please clarify and respond to all points promptly

Yours faithfully,

Heston O Riley

Dear Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Wirral Metropolitan Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'DASS Carers Assesment Documents'.

As you have refused to acknowledge my clarifications requested in April I now request an internal review

Hello Heston O Riley

Thank you for your further email.  The system the Council uses to process
FOI enquiries does not automatically receipt enquiries, although if asked
for a receipt or acknowledgement we are happy to provide one.  Your
request for clarification has been passed on to the appropriate department
on receipt and as soon as they have responded to me, I will forward the
reply to you.  The response may take up to 20 working days due to the
volume of enquiries we are currently in receipt of.

Minutes from 6th March 2012 - In order to clarify ‘No notes available’
this meant that notes had not been typed up at the time of your request
and therefore not available, apologies if that was unclear, please now see
attached.  The notes from meeting held in January are the originals.  With
regard inclusion of names, any names of non senior managers; volunteers or
members of the public have had their names redacted from the documentation
and I have also attached the minutes from 8th May 2012, now available.
The minute taker was Carol Jones, Carers Development Officer department of
