I write in connection with your request for information dated 19th September which was received by Cleveland Police on that date. I note you seek access to the following information:
Please supply figures for the number of dogs seized as a banned breed type who were found not guilty in a court for the same time period.

Nearly all of our Dangerous Dog Act incidents are attended by a Dog Liaison Officer to asses breed type where the dog is suspected of being a banned breed

3. Please supply figures for the number of dogs seized as a banned breed type whose owners were found not guilty in a court for the same time period.
2016 = 0
2017 = 0

Having made enquiries within the Force above is all the information we have been able to retrieve.
