Dear Ms Broad,
Environmental Information Request Reference No: 201707222
Thank you very much for your prompt response.
However, I am extremely concerned at your information. Could you please inform me whether if the information I request exists, HSE would normally hold it ? Please let me know as a matter of urgency if the requested information might be available elsewhere. Could it be that the site was mis-spelt ? Some spell it as 'Daedulus' or 'Daedulas' ?
Does this lack of HSE having the above information indicate it does not exist ?
I contacted HSE upon the advice of both the Environmental Health Officer and the Head of Building Control of the relevant Council - Gosport Council. Initially I had contacted them for the information.
Head of Building Control also informed me ".. the main contractor, Hughes and Salvidge Ltd produced a construction phase plan for these demolition works which confirmed a detailed survey of each building was carried out by Envirochem. Any identified notifiable licensed and notifiable non licensed asbestos was scheduled to be removed prior to the demolition of each building. The contractor for the removal notifiable licensed asbestos was RH Insulation. ...."
The many demolished buildings contained asbestos, both notifiable and notifiable non licensed asbestos according to the initial survey included with the planning application. The resultant building demolition material, much in a finely crushed/pulverized state, is now in several huge stockpiles close to very many homes (including mine), offices and a museum.
For 7 months we have had, continue to have, dust laden air of stockpile dust blown over/in our properties. Our worries are great as you can imagine.
I very much look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Mrs Newsom

In answer to points 2 and 3 of your email the Licensed asbestos contractor

and waste disposal records (waste transfer notes, etc.)  are held by the
contractor.  It is not HSE's policy to request these documents and
therefore I can confirm they are not held.
