Cycling scheme & traffic congestion in Hinckley
Dear Leicestershire County Council
In the Hinckley Times 11/10/17 a “county official” is reported to have said that in Spring 2018 user numbers will be established for comparison with data collected before the scheme was implemented.
What in formation can LCC provide that shows precisely what data and parameters were measured prior to implementation and where can it be found? Clearly for a valid comparison the 2018 exercise will have to exactly mirror the same methodology.
Besides an increase in cyclists the aim was in parallel to reduce traffic congestion. Likewise, what information exists regarding the pre-implementation data used for measurement and where can it be found?
Yours faithfully,
J Newman
