Cycling Level of Service scores for proposed Quietway interventions in Wandsworth

Transport for London did not have the information requested.

Dear Transport for London,

At the Wandsworth Council Community Services Overview and Scrutiny committee meeting
coming up on the 24th November, paper 15-458 refers to the Quietways programme.

As part of the new London Cycle Design Standards, there is a Cycling level of service (CLoS) toolkit, which provides an ability to quantify the quality of the current street layout, and quantify how any proposed changes will improve the level of service.

Please provide the CLoS scores for the proposed Quietway interventions in Wandsworth, both for the current street layout and what the scores will be if the proposals are given the go-ahead following consultation.

Yours faithfully,

Jon Irwin

Dear Gemma,

Many thanks for your response just before Christmas. I have only just now become aware of it.

You state that Wandsworth Council would hold the information that I seek. However, they have pointed me to TfL for the information, as you can see from this FOI request I made to them.

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...

Given your response, could you please confirm that TfL do not hold any CLoS details relating to the proposed Quietway interventions in Wandsworth.

Yours sincerely,

Jon Irwin

Dear Mr Irwin

Our Ref:         FOI-1586-1516

Thank you for your e-mail regarding the response to your recent FOI
request.

I can confirm that TfL has not carried out any CLoS assessments, nor have
we commissioned our contractors to either. Therefore, we do not hold any
CLoS details. Other assessments may have been carried out, and these would
be held by the Borough.

If you have any other queries with which I can be of assistance please let
me know.

Yours sincerely
