Cycle City Ambition Fund - progress update
Dear Newcastle upon Tyne City Council,
Five years ago, Newcastle City Council (NCC) received £5.7 from the Cycle City Ambition Fund and NCC allocated this funding to a number of projects across the city. In November 2016, Katja Leyendecker submitted an FOI to establish the progress of these cycling schemes (https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...) and she was provided with a summary pdf document which detailed how much money was allocated to each project and how far they had progressed.
At that point, a number of the schemes had not been completed. I would be grateful if you could provide me with a progress update for each of the projects listed that didn't have a status of 'complete' . If possible, I'd like to know the final cost (approximate) for each of those projects. Additionally, if any of the projects were not built I'd like to know the reason why they didn't go ahead. I'd also like to know how the money that wasn't spent on those projects was re-allocated. If it wasn't reallocated, I'd like to know what happened to that money; was it returned? If not, where is it now?
I have
Yours faithfully,
Tay Pitman

Dear Newcastle upon Tyne City Council,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Newcastle upon Tyne City Council's handling of my FOI request 'Cycle City Ambition Fund - progress update'.
I submitted this FOI at the start of July and have yet to hear back. I received an acknowledgement from Melanie Emmerson at NCC on 27th August 2020, who had apologised for the delay and said that I should receive a response the following week. I did not.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...
Yours faithfully,
Taymar Pitman
