Thank you for your request made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000
relating to, which we received on. I can confirm that North
Northamptonshire Council holds the information requested. Please find our
response below.
I would like to request details on what cybersecurity education is
available to primary school teachers in your local authority as part of
their CPD and whether this is compulsory or optional.
There are various types of cybersecurity training that usually falls
within the responsibility of each institution. Currently, North Northants
does not offer schools that fall within their remit cyber security
training. As part of each teacher’s professional CPD requirements, that
would be discussed as part of their employment agreement offer, which is
not overseen by the Local Authority.
You may re-use the information under the terms of an [1]Open Government
