Cuts to FOI Services
Dear Department for International Trade,
I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act (2000) to ask:
1) Please list cuts made to your department/body between the years 2019-2021.
2) Please list any changes or cuts in the department that deals with FOI requests, or the entity which oversees this function.
3) Please outline if there have been cuts to personnel specifically in relation to those working on FOI teams.

Thank you for your email, we have reviewed your request and would like to
clarify a few points to make sure we answer in the correct way.
Firstly, what specifically do you mean by cuts? Is it cuts to people
(redundancies) or money? Also, does it relate to overall funding to DIT or
internal? Lastly, what do you mean by changes? Is this just to the size /
structure of team, vacancies etc.?

With reference to cuts this would mean both to staff, as in redundancies, and to funding, and to the specific department/s that oversee FOI responses or cover this area.
Changes would refer to size, structure, access to equipment, or anything in this area.
