Cut backs and Council Costs

The request was successful.

Dear Sefton Borough Council,

Can you justify the high cost of salaries paid to so many Council Employees in view of the fact that Sefton has made so many other cut backs in the region?

The average salary in the UK is £25,000 and this includes the London boroughs.

Can you please inform me how much of the Local Council Taxes/ Business taxes and Parking fees are used to support these high salaries?

Yours faithfully,
M. Arbiton
