Southwark Borough Council did not have the information requested.

Dear Southwark Borough Council,

I am writing to request current tenure mix information relating to the 2000 new homes built under the Bermondsey Spa regeneration scheme.

Please provide me with the following information:

1. When was the scheme last monitored to ensure compliance with the tenure mix conditions secured in the various section 106 planning agreements for the site?

2. What were the results of that monitoring exercise? i.e. how many of the 2000 units were being let at social rent and how many were being let at 'affordable rent' at the time the scheme was last monitored?

For the avoidance of doubt: by social rent I mean rents for which levels are determined by the formula set out in the National Rent Regime; and by 'affordable rent' I mean the new tenure product whereby rents are determined as a percentage of market rent.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,

Jerry Flynn
