Current CBMDC building assets

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Bradford City Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Bradford City Council,

On the 6 June 2010 username ew.walgrove made an FOI request via the website WhatDoTheyKnow entitled "Property owned by the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council" requesting a full list with addresses of property owned by the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council including all those which are vacant and currently leased to other organisations/companies.

Three days later a response was received on the 9 June 2010, providing a comprehensive list of the then building assets you owned.

I would like to request the current building assets list, so I am in a position to do a comparative analysis of your current building asset stock in comparison to 5 years ago.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Hussain

Dear Bradford City Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Bradford City Council's handling of my FOI request 'Current CBMDC building assets'.

I write to request an internal review of your response to my FOI request dated 22nd May 2015, entitled “Current CBMDC Building assets”, where I requested an updated list of your current building assets. Your response is :

Under part 1 section 2 (S21) the information is in the public domain via
this link: [1]Property and assets list

I remain unsatisfied with your response for three reasons. Firstly, in your response you mention a link to a Property and assets list, yet no HTML link is actually provided in your reply. Secondly, I don’t wish to be directed to your website as the information on your website can be removed at a later date, and furthermore, it may not be in the format I require. Finally, my request was to be handled in the same manner that the original request was handled on 6 June 2010 by username ew.walgrove i.e. for you to provide and excel file format copy of the information requested. The original file provided at the time was titled “Copy of Buildings Assets FH 09.06.10 v1.0.xls”

Please can you look to address my enquires accordingly to the request made.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...

Yours faithfully,

Mr Hussain

Dear Angela Firth,

I could not locate the link to the external reference in the body of your original response of 26 May 2015. This is the reason I requested an internal review. Please accept my apologies as this could have been due to a technical issue at the website.

The following link has now been provided in the body if your last correspondence and I am satisfied that my FOI request has been fully responded to and the matter is now closed.

Thank you for your prompt handling of my FOI request.

Mr Hussain

Dear Angela Firth,

Contrary to my last correspondence, regarding my satisfaction to the original FOI request; after throughly reviewing the two CBMDC's building asset snapshot documents, I now have a need to extend my original enquire, with follow-on questions, as I require further information for the purposes of my analysis.

[Q1] I currently hold a copy of CBMDC's building assets snapshots for the year 2010 and 2015; what I require is CBMDC's building asset snapshot for the intervening years of 2011, 2012, 2013,2014. The reason I am requesting this information is so I can analyse the historic dataset and draw accurate conclusions on CBMDC's building asset procurement and disposal trends, over the last five years.

[Q2] As of 2015, will you be able to provide an estimated total monitory value of CBMDC's building assets?

Yours sincerely,

Mr Hussain

On the 12th of June 2015, CBMDC decided to decline responding further to my enquires, as they deemed my numerous questions as constituting vexatious behaviour. If viewers and users of this site consider my questions as being legitimate and disagree with CBMDC's opinion of my behaviour -and consider their current stance as attempts at being evasive in answering legitimate question put to them by a member of the public - then please join me in my campaign to bring the Local Authority to account by signing my petition on the following site: https://you.38degrees.org.uk/p/MrHussain
