Dear Steve Hanratty,

Thank you for the information, unfortunately I do not understand it, as if rosalind leisure are in liquidation being overseen by begbies traynor, how can 'The Pullman' still be trading?

Yours sincerely,

L.ellwood

Steve Hanratty, Sunderland City Council

Dear L. Ellwood

With regard to your further enquiry relating to FOI 15 01 07, I can
provide the following information:

The lease granted over the Councils freehold interest in the premises
known as the Pullman Lodge, Seaburn is currently held by Rosalind Leisure
ltd. We have been informed by Begbies Traynor that they have been
appointed as liquidation practitioner and are currently dealing with the
liquidation.  It is therefore our understanding that Begbies Traynor
control the company and assets held by it including the Pullman Lodge. The
lease has not been disclaimed by Begbies Traynor.

With regard to the status of Rosalind Leisure and their ability to trade,
this is something that the council do not have information about. You may
wish to raise this query with the appointed liquidators, Begbies Traynor.

Kind Regards

The insolvency final report makes interesting reading. The lease is mentioned - it was not transferred to Signal Box as that company had already gone into insolvency itself.
