In order that we can assess whether we can provide the requested
information I'd be grateful if you would clarify your request as follows:

 1)How many offenders carried out Community Service Orders (CSOs)
    and Community Payback Orders (CPOs)during the calendar year 2011
    (January 1st 2011- December 31st 2011)?
 There is no distinction between CSO and CPO. The legal requirement is to
carry out unpaid work and this is managed within our Community Payback
scheme. Do you want to know how many individuals undertook unpaid work at
any stage in the calendar year 2011, irrespective of when their order was
made or how many hours of it they carried out in that period, or do you
want to know how many individuals received a new order to carry out unpaid
work in the period ?
 
    2)How many offenders failed to turn up to their work placements
    during their Community Service Order or Community Payback Orders
    during the calender year 2011 ((January 1st 2011- December 31st
    2011)?
Do you want to know how many did not turn up at least once during their
order irrespective of whether they had an acceptable reason for this or do
you want to know how many did not turn up at least once where this was
deemed to be an unacceptable absence - which will have merited enforcement
action?

When I receive your clarification I'll be better able to assess whether
the information can be provided.

However until you answer the other questions I posed to help clarify your
request I am unable to proceed to see if we can provide the information.

That is;
Do you want to know how many individuals undertook unpaid work at any
