Croydon Neighbourhood Partnerships - Numbers Attending Each Meeting 2001-2010

The request was successful.

Dear Croydon Borough Council,

I see details are provided of these meetings at the weblink below, however there are no details on numbers attending.

http://www.croydononline.org/neighbourho...

* Addiscombe, Ashburton & Woodside
* Broad Green & Waddon
* Coulsdon
* Fairfield, Heathfield & Shirley
* New Addington & Fieldway
* Norbury & Upper Norwood
* Purley & Kenley
* Sanderstead, Croham, Selsdon & Ballards
* South Norwood & Selhurst
* Thornton Heath, Bensham Manor & West Thornton

Please provide the dates of each meeting of each NP since they began around 2001, and include all meetings in 2010, including the two due later this month.

Please also provide the numbers of people registered as attending each meeting.

Please break down these numbers as far as possible into:

council officers
council admin staff for meeting
elected councillors
ordinary members of the public

Please include also the numbers of members of the public currently registered in the database for each NP.

Please provide this data in a simple XLS (not XLSX) spreadsheet table.

As there are at most 300 meetings involved, and it need take no more than 3 mins to enter the data into the spreadsheet, this exercise should certainly not take longer than 15 hours, and may well take much less than that.

Indeed, the information should already be logged by the NP Team.

Yours faithfully,

Kwame Opoku

Dear Passman, Howard,

Thank you for your reply.

Could you please provide data for the November 2010 meetings of the Thornton Heath, Fairfield and Norbury NP meetings, as originally requested?

Why has Purley NP lost a meeting, having 3 meetings in 2009, and apparently in 2011, but only 2 in 2010?

Separate data on numbers of councillors attending was requested, but has not been supplied.

Please either provide this data or explain why it cannot be produced.

Why was the 4-2-09 meeting of the Addiscombe NP cancelled?

If this was due to severe weather, why was the meeting not rescheduled?

Yours sincerely,

Kwame Opoku

Dear Passman, Howard,

It is nearly 3 weeks since I wrote asking you to complete the information I originally asked for, and a couple of queries of clarification.

However you have yet to even acknowledge this enquiry.

As a result, I now escalate this to Internal Review.

Yours sincerely,

Kwame Opoku

Dear Mr. Opoku,

Thank you for your recent email in respect of your further request for
information. Please accept my apologies for the delay in replying to
you.

In response to your specific questions I am able to provide you with the
following information and I also attached a revised Excel document
containing attendance information.

1. Why has Purley NP lost a meeting, having 3 meetings in 2009, and
apparently in 2011, but only 2 in 2010?

. Purley Neighbourhood Partnership (PK) meetings have been
occurring in September, December and April, whereas other Partnerships had
even gaps of 4 months between meetings. PK meeting were realigned in
2011, so the meetings occur in September, January and May i.e. the meeting
which previously took place in December has moved one month to January.
No meetings have been lost.

2. Why was the 4-2-09 meeting of the Addiscombe Neighbourhood Partnership
cancelled?

. This was cancelled due to severe snow conditions. Unfortunately
there was not a suitable later date available before the next scheduled
meeting on 27 May. With 10 Partnerships, there are 30 meetings a year,
with no meetings in August, school and Bank Holidays, so it is very
difficult to rearrange extra meetings in between those all ready
scheduled.

If you still wish to have the lack of response internally reviewed, please
contact my line manager Ms. Gabriel Macgregor -
