Dear UK Border Agency,

Damian Green asserted on 15 September 2011 in a speech widely reported in the press that there had been 155 arrests in sham marriage cases in the previous year.

Please disclose the number of criminal convictions in connection with sham marriages in the following years along with the criminal law under which the conviction was obtained:

1. 2010
2. 2011
