Dear British Transport Police,
Two days ago I submitted an FOI entitled ‘Crimes after dark’ to your force via whatdotheyknow.com. It has come to my attention from replies I have received from other police forces that you cannot provide me with the information I previously requested. Please could you therefore disregard my previous request and provide me with this information instead:
For each of the financial years between and including 2010/ 11 and 2018/19, how many violent crimes (with injury and without injury) took place in your area?
How many of these crimes per year took place between 6am and 6pm, and how many took place between 6pm and 6am?
How many of these crimes per year that took place between 6am and 6pm had female victims, and how many had male victims?
How many of these crimes per year that took place between 6pm and 6am had female victims, and how many had male victims?
Please could you provide me with this information in an excel spreadsheet.
If you need any clarification then please do not hesitate to contact me. Under Section 16 it is your duty to provide advice and assistance and so I would expect you to contact me if you find this request unmanageable in any way.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response.
Dear Tilda Coleman,
Thank you for your email informing us to disregard your request, our reference 1595-19. We have now closed this request and will be in touch with a new reference number for the the new request you wish to make.
