Joshua Sargeant-Maynard

Dear Northamptonshire Police,

As a student social worker undertaking a research proposal, can you kindly advise me:-

How many incidences of APVA (Adolescent to Parent Violence and/or abuse were recorded by your Police Force for the years of 2014, 2015 and 2016?

How many of those incidences in 2014, 2015 and 2016 resulted in a formal caution of the young person?

How many incidences in 2014, 2015 and 2016 resulted in a criminal prosecution?

How many incidences in 2014, 2015 and 2016 were referred to Social Services?

Following an incident of alleged APVA, how many adolescents were removed from the family home to safeguard the victim in 2014, 2015 and 2016?

Do your police officers receive routine training specifically regarding APVA?

Yours faithfully,

Joshua Sargeant-Maynard
