Under the FoI act I would like to submit the following for information.

During 2018, How many people classed as IC1/IC2 (combined) were arrested (charged or not) by officers of your force area for the following.

1. Breach of the peace
2. Hate Speech specifically against disability, race, religion, sexual orientation or transgender identity
3. Section 5 of the POA

and during 2018, how many people classed as IC6 were arrested (charged or not) by officers of your force area for the same

1. Breach of the peace
2. Hate Speech specifically against disability, race, religion, sexual orientation or transgender identity

Enquiry Ref: 11021/2019

I write in connection with your request for information dated 15th June and received on 17th June 2019 concerning Crime statistics for specific crimes. As we have not received a response to our request for further information dated 18th June 2019 (copy attached) we are unfortunately not in a position to be able to respond to your request and it has been closed.

If you still require this information please submit a new request in line with the information contained in the e-mail of 18th June 2019.

If you are not satisfied with the actions taken in dealing with your request you have the right to ask that we review your case under our review procedure. The APP College of Policing guidance states that a request for internal review should be made within 40 working days of the date on this response unless extenuating circumstances to account for the delay can be evidenced. If you decide to ask for such a review to be undertaken and following this process you are still dissatisfied, you then have the right to direct your complaint to the Information Commissioner who will consider it.
