The number of disability hate crimes reported in Worcester from September 2016 to September 2017.

The number of disability discrimination cases reported in Worcester from September 2016 to September 2017.

The number of people arrested due to committing a disability hate crime in Worcester from September 2014 to September 2015.

The number of people arrested due to committing a disability hate crime in Worcester from September 2016 to September 2017.

The types of sentences people have been given for committing a disability hate crime in Worcester from September 2016 to September 2017.

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: RFI  9203

 

I write in connection with your request for information dated and received
on 4^th January 2018.

Information Act 2000 (the Act).  You will receive a response within the

REPLY: Please see the attached tables.
Searches have been conducted for all hate crimes recorded in Worcester
between 1st September 2014 to 31st August 2015 and 1st September 2016 to
31st August 2017 where the 'Event Aggravating factor' is 'Disability'. 
 
Searches have also been conducted for all disability discrimination cases
(195/54, 99/37, 111/24 & 148/42) recorded in Worcester between 1st
September 2016 to 31st August 2017 with a NIL RESULT.
 
Please be advised that the force is unable to link Crimes to Custody and
therefore have provided Outcomes as a proxy for arrests.  The force is
unable to link Crimes to Case so cannot provide types of sentence.
 
 
Every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided by our
SSI Department is as accurate as possible
