I believe Mr Leicester is not asking for any personal information to be disclosed only numbers - how can this be a breach of the DPA ?

More like the reason they will not reply is that the statistics are so bad

Just by chance I came across this post whilst I was looking to make a posting of my own, mine concerns the appalling condition of the A55 and the disruption the current road works are causing to commuters.
Some years ago I used to live in Abergele and I worked for one of the emergency services, we regularly got called out to the addresses you mentioned and similar properties in the same location.
You would not believe the state of the living condition in some of the properties most of the residents come to the properties direct from either HMP Walton or HMP Strangeways and care little for the properties.
I think it’s fair to say that we regarded the area as a ghetto and as long as the criminal stayed there then there was no problem, it was widely known that either the Council or Police had any influence there.
A couple of property speculators and a Housing Association did try to buy some of the flats and refurbish then but in the end they just gave up because of the area.
By your post it sounds as though nothing has changed and I doubt it ever will

Dear North Wales Police,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of North Wales Police's handling of my FOI request 'Crime Statistics'.
On January 25th 2015 I requested information concerning crime in an area of Pensarn Abergele this request was subsequently refused.

The North Wales Weekly News published a report on “officers injured on duty” on February 5th 2015 the information came from a request by The Daily Post to the FOI. The report showed the number of police officers and the amounts claimed.

My request was for the number of offences committed in various categories not any personal data to which three people have posted comments.

I would like to know what, if any are the differences between the aforementioned requests.

.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...

Yours faithfully,

Colin Leicester
