Crime count for HM Royal Burgh Of Linlithgow

The request was successful.

Dear Lothian & Borders Police.

I hear by make a request under the freedom of information
(Scotland) Act 2002 of your sovereign lady her majesty Queen
Elizabeth II.

Please could the force supply unto me:

A) A full categorical breakdown of crimes by type for the HM Royal Burgh Of Linlithgow.

B) A full statistical count of all crimes by type that have occurred between the dates 03/05/2010 - 03/05/2011.

Thank you.

Lothian and Borders Police

Dear Mr MacLean

Thank you for your email, which has been dealt with under the terms
of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.

I have searched our crime recording system and can advise that the
following crimes were committed in Linlithgow between 03/05/2010 and
03/05/2011.

These figures relate to crime reports created, rather than individual
crimes. For example, if an individual was identified as causing
damage to numerous cars on a street during a vandalism "spree", a
crime report would be created in relation to every car damaged.
Therefore the number of reports will be higher than the number of
accused involved.
