Thank you for your information request, reference number NELC/30851/2425.
I can confirm that North East Lincolnshire Council holds the following
information:

 

Please could you let me know the number of cremations and burials that
have taken place in the North East Lincolnshire Council area from January
to December 2022?

 

For the dates requested the total number of burials that were undertaken
on our sites were 131. The total number of cremations were 1855.

 

Please note these figures do not include funerals that have taken place at
churches, private/parish cemeteries or private crematoria as North East
Lincolnshire Council does not hold statistics for these.

 

If you believe that your request for information has not been handled in
accordance with the Freedom of Information Act, you have the right to
request an internal review by the Council. If you wish to request an
internal review, please write to us detailing the reasons why. Please be
clear about which elements of the Council’s response or handling of the
