Dear Northumberland County Council,

Thank you Catherine for your acknowledgement of my request.

I've just realised that I forgot to include a question. Rather than lodge a second request, may I append it to the original?

The question is:

Please specify how many funeral services relating to burials in the cemetery were held in the burial chapel in each of the calendar years 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Yours faithfully,

Peter Mitchell

Dear Information Governance,

Almost a further week has passed and I have still not received the information that I requested.

Please note that I would also like the receive the additional information that I requested after making my original request, namely:

Please specify how many funeral services relating to burials in the cemetery were held in the burial chapel in each of the calendar years 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Mitchell

Dear Information Governance,

Is the 'service area' for Blyth Crematorium not aware of the statutory 20 day response period for FOI requests?

As a matter of due diligence, surely you must have systems in place to record and monitor the receipt and progress of each FOI request made to the the Council to ensure compliance with the Act?

Such a system would trigger alarms in a case such as mine, whether nothing appears to be happening.

The statutory period expired on 21st September, yet I am still waiting for a response to my request, which I need as a matter of urgency.

Yours sincerely,

Peter Mitchell
