Creation of British citizens
Dear Home Office,
Is a British citizen a natural or artificial person?
Yours faithfully,
Matthew Cooper
Dear Matthew Cooper,
I would be grateful if you could elaborate on your below request and
explain what your terms mean as I am unfamiliar with them.

Dear Freedom Of Information Team ( IND ),
It is my understanding that a British Citizen is a person
in the United Kingdom.
My question is whether a British Citizen is a natural person ie. a human being as opposed to an artificial person eg. a corporation or other legal fiction.
Yours sincerely,
Matthew Cooper

Dear Whitehead, Jane,
Thanks for your response.
I am familiar with the classes of British nationality.
What is the UK Border Agencies/Home Offices definition of an 'individual'? This will help me to understand what you are meaning by using that word as the definition of a British citizen.
Yours sincerely,
Matthew Cooper
I am out of the office until Tuesday 7 September.

Dear Mr Cooper,
Thanks you for your e-mail.
By an "individual" I am referring to a single, particular person.
In nationality terms a named individual can be a British citizen by
birth, descent, registration or naturalisation, in relation to his or
her own specific circumstances.
Best wishes,
Jane Whitehead

So I suppose the question "Please tell me factually and descriptively what a person is" is more applicable.
